The more things change, the more they stay the same round: Brisbane & Adelaide still frustrate; New Zealand still struggle through another tough year on the road; Melbourne continue to look the favourites; South East Melbourne, Sydney & Perth (with their fans' extremely high expectations) are imperfect but probably finals bound and Illawarra will probably be unlucky to miss out.
