North America: Thoughts on NBA Finals (with a flashback to ep 70 an NBA season preview episode); We talk as fans about our favourite teams, Stu on the OKC Thunder and then Nath on the San Antonio Spurs (DeJounte Murray trade); Several stars and impact players sign extensions; Jazz trade Rudy Gobert to Minnesota (Timberwolves on the rise/Utah rebuilding); Kevin Durant situation; Stu has random trivia about averages. WNBA: Sabrina Ionescu has first 30 point triple double. Isiah Thomas calls Jordan out about "freezing out" game.
(44:51) Tennis: Crazy tournament includes Serena Williams being knocked out in the 1st set, Alejandro Davidovich Fokina losing in most anticlimactic way possible, Rafael Nadal withdrawing after winning quarters to give Kygrios a walk into the final which had not yet been played at time of recording (should there be lucky losers?) and hypocrisy of Russion/Belarussion bans (particularly on women's side of the draw). Also obligatory asterisk talk.
(56:19) Cricket: Sri Lanka win ODIs over Australia 3-2; Australia win first test and in commanding position in 2nd test at time of recording. India wrap up 'extended' tour of England (and tumbling records).
(1:04:20) AFL: We try to shake off a bit of general apathy a month and a half outside of finals. Including standing items: umpiring and rules (and length of games) & how many teams can win it this season? Also includes: Vince Rugari feels lonely at the SCG; Dogs to miss finals again? (as usual after a grand final appearance).
(1:12:32) Golf: The chips don't fall the right way for Will Zalatoris; Andrew Ruthkoski goes alright; LIV vs PGA; Jason Kokrak goes for a 'joy ride' mid round.
